She runs like the wind.............

Well at least to Katie Ann's mom she does. Katie Ann is now the 11th fastest high school athlete to run the 800 in the state of Tennessee. And she will tell you she hates to run but she is good at it........And for those of you like myself who didn't know how long the 800 meter run was( due to not being taught the metric system in my lifetime.) It would be 2 circles around a football field track!!

I don't understand....

I really don't understand why I can never get a Bass family photo with all 6 people in it. I think it has something to do with we can only take one shower at a time due to water pressure, someone has to hold the camera and four teenagers are not ever in the same room at the same time....... But I will say that starting a new chapter of life (have children graduating from high school) was not a sad one but one of joy, and I looking forward to seeing what God has for Jason in the next four years.
After a week in the hospital and a week at home on drugs, David still managed to get dressed up and celebrate the day!!! Very thankful !!!

What I Missed this Week.....

Pneumonia........Did you know that there are at least 30 different causes of Pneumonia? I didn't but I do know that we just spent Nine days in the hospital. 4 1/2 in Murfreesboro and 4 1/2 at Vanderbilt trying to find a way to cure the Pneumonia and the 103 fever that came with it. David and Michele's life did stop for over a week, but we chose to let the kids remain occupied. So below Katie Ann had to have a new family (thank you Francis family) to take a picture with for the DNJ athletic banquet. And above Caroline was cheered on by other friends mothers at the finals of her soccer team championship game. I am just so glad for digital cameras and websites (facebook) that let me experience their moments while sitting in a hospital room.
