History Fair.........we have come a long way

Two years ago, we had four History projects with four costumes. We are now down to one. I use to be tense and the projects took over the dinning room table. This year, two night before, I went through the pretend clothes and got an Indian costume together. I think I have become too relaxed. After dress rehearsal, Caroline told me she didn't really look like an Indian. Her brothers told her it was due to her skin and hair color. But we regrouped and thanks to another Mom, Caroline looked like an Indian, blond hair and all.
Caroline had two roles in the American revolution play. An Indian dumping tea and the closing narrator. She did a great job.

Jason and the Music City Marathon

We only have pictures of Jason at the end of the half marathon. But he did run 13.1 miles in less than 2 hours. Here are some after shots with he and his friend Natalee: Looking a little tired at first but after a banana, showing a grin.

Caroline and the Kids Marathon

Taking action shot is hit or miss with me. I do not have a digital camera to take as many as I would like and delete the bad one. The above is Caroline running at the start of the race. You can see her arm with a black watch on with a green shirt. After she passed I had to run/walk to the finish line. David was running with her, but she left him.
Here Caroline is after the finish line. Jeff Fisher, the Titan coach gave them a high five as they crossed.
Caroline and her friend Brook showing off their medals.
Dad finally catches up and get his picture made.
