Living near Nashville, we assumed we could run over to Nashville and pick up a few football tickets when Auburn came to town. Little did we ever believe that Vandy would be 4-0 and tickets would be $150. So we went for the atmosphere and a little bit of hope?? We ran into some old friends from Auburn who had given away several tickets the day before. We circled the small stadium and saw tickets for $150.
We settled at one end zone with several other Auburn fans who had the same idea. We watched the screen and hopped on a bench to see the field. Stephen tried to get on the back of this truck but the police came around more than once.
Later on, we received a text that Stephen was in stadium. It was the 2nd half but he was in. So the rest of the group went to Joe's Crab Shack, watched it on TV and went back to pick him up after the game. Needless to say, we were so very happy we didn't pay $150 to watch the Tigers get beat.
