would be so fun if not for the many people Caroline got to share it with. Having friends to share memories is a memory. Day two we spent time in the Art Gallery, went on a tour of the Capital and later that night went on a Monument Tour by Twilight!
Caroline has had many years of art already and I was impressed of the paintings she knew. I had her stand by one of my favorites for the picture.
Earphones are a great way for 6
th graders to listen to a tour. That is how we heard our tour from our guide. There was less chatting and maybe they learned something?
Before going into the art museum, they were given a map to look at. They didn't use it but they saw the museum was divided by time periods.
