This is the month of Bass family birthdays. The youngest Caroline turned 11 this July. She is a sweet tenderhearted young lady who loves her family. She loves pound cake, strawberries with cool whip also. She is a specail gfirt from God to all of us. She will take care of David and I one day I am sure! We are very thankful for her!
David brought this "chair" hammock from Mexico for Caroline for her birthday.
We have taken pictures of the first day of school in front of this tree for many years. This is the first time there is only one in front of the tree. Caroline is in middle school with no siblings to watch over her.
First year with a locker and changing classes every 50 minutes!!!!!

It is hot in Tennessee
Well, after leaving Alabama I told David that Tennessee was so much cooler. The humidity followed me all the way to Tennessee so I could eat my words. This week, only a dip in a pool ,was the only reason to be outside! So we traveled with another family to the state park and tried out the pool with two very bouncy diving boards. Above is Jason catching a football in mid air! Below Katie Ann and Caroline are enjoying the water.
Another diving board shot. Jason is front while Stephen is close behind him.
Here is the swimming pool gang after a day at the pool.

South Alabama Visit
We spent a few days in Evergreen Alabama visiting David's family. Above the girls are with their cousin Gracie at other cousin's house. It was humid hot visit. Below Stephen and David are fishing in the middle of the day but managed to catch a few.
A giant slip and slide has become a tradition. This year the crowd grew.
David's dad assembled this wagon to be pulled by a horse. We were all able to take a ride in Warrior Creek Alabama.
