We have reached the point where we only have one runner in the Nashville Music City Kid Marathon. No, we are not allowing Caroline to run 26 miles at one time. But over the last 6 weeks she has ran 25 and she will run the last 1.3 miles tomorrow night in downtown Nashville. We do have a 16 year old who is signed up for the half marathon and plans on running 13 miles Saturday morning. I never had that much energy or drive as a 16 year old.

PCA who are running. The marathon benefits Special Kids. each grade has one Special Kid that they are running in honor of.
The 25
th mile is ran with celebration at school. They all have
PCA marathon T-shirts and have their mile timed. Caroline is the
blond in the green shirt! ha. Actually is you look at the lady in the white shirt in the back and go 3 heads to the right, you will see Caroline with her hair pulled back.
At the start, they parents threw confetti!

He did not give any specific reasons why he cut his hair, but he did say he thought he could sleep longer in morning because he didn't have as much hair to wash.

The Bass family is in full swing of soccer season. We actually are in the middle of it. Stephen and Katie Ann only have three more weeks until thier season ends. Caroline's season started today.
This is Caroline's first year at soccer. She is playing with the city rec league. She has been to so many games, she actually knew what to do. Still needs to work on technique:)
Katie Ann is play with Providence's school team. It is a co-ed team. She is a mid-fielder (which means she is suppose to "feed" the ball to the players who can hit it in the goal) She is having a fun time.
Stephen is playing on his high school team. He and most all the other freshman are on Junior Varsity but he is loving it. His team has not allowed a goal yet. He plays forward. It has been fun watching but after the game, he rides the bus home. That is different for us. He has the soccer hair style but we are getting it cut this week.
