Basketball Season

The time has come where basketball season has begun at the Bass house. Three Bass kids and one parent (mom) are involved. We have had a little bit of hold up. (as you can see in the picture) But we hope to be at full staff in a week. There seems to be a buckle fracture of the radius on Katie Ann's left arm. The good news is it is not Katie Ann's shooting arm. Not so good...she has to miss at least the first 3 games. But she is being a great water girl.

Dressing up!!!

My kids have never went " trick or treat" growing up. We have been to fall festivals and other events. But last year they became a part of a "large group" of dressing up kids in a neighborhood and I have been amazed. Since they have never done it before, they are very creative. Caroline was your standard Auburn Football player. Stephen is a pirate (he is in a red bandanna ), Katie Ann and her classmates dressed up as characters in the Peter Pan story. She is Tinkerbell. Jason came home from basketball practice and dressed up like a tired athlete. Please make note of the cute chicken outfit with the fire hat. Peter wanted to be a fire chicken. Very creative.

Corn Maze

On the hay ride with our friend Hannah.
Stephen and Caroline playing on the hay bales.

I never went to corn mazes as a kid. I don't know if they didn't have them or what. But walking in the dark and seeing the dark sky with shadows of corn stalks can be a fun thing. This corn maze had lot of hay bales which were a hit. We took a hay ride and enjoyed the cold weather. Jason wasn't able to join us but we had a great time.

Caroline wanted Auburn orange and blue
No we do not have another Bass child. This is one of our pastor's son, Tate, that I was watching while his older brothers and mom were enjoying the games.
