New Action This Fall

This fall Caroline decided she did not want to run Cross Country and try her hand at Volleyball. This is the sport I loved in High School and had not had a child to have an interest. Jason and Stephen decided they liked Volleyball when they were Jr's and Sr's in high school and now play some. Caroline's first year to touch a V-ball. She became a setter and learned quick. They were a young team but managed to win a few games. Watching was fun and painful at times. Trying to learn to not coach and be a spectator was my goal. Thank goodness God and Caroline gives 2nd chances!
Look at the cool socks. We never had such cool socks in the 80's.

Waiting................

Well, it will have been 8 weeks since we dropped Jason off at Talon Hall in the Village at Auburn. I have been waiting..............to see if he would find friends he could relate to........to see if he could wash his clothes..................to see if not having a car was the right thing to do..........to see if he could get to Wal-mart....................to see if he could print papers without a printer............The wait is over...................he is fine and all he is waiting for is football games to begin.

Using his head.................

As Parents we always are telling our kids to use their head when making a decision etc. Since Stephen has grown to be 6'4", he has been using his head for soccer goals. Above is a sample of that.
Another head moment.....not really I just think this is a cool picture of Stephen on one of his many adventures this summer as a Almost "Senior".
